Open Studio

Thursday evenings ongoing, 6:30-9:30pm

Fee: $40 per session

This workshop opportunity allows experienced papermakers to experiment with the medium on their own. Participants can use various prepared pulps we have available in the studio and can make sheets up to 11 x 14 ". Works made can be dried in our restraint drying system and picked up a few days later.

The well-equipped professional papermaking studio is located in North Portland. Equipment includes a Davis-Hodges 2 lb hollander beater, Western & Eastern moulds & deckles ranging in size from 8x10" up to 4’ x 6’, a hydraulic press, and a restraint drying system.
